Cool work with the hydro clutch setup.

IIRC, a T4 clutch MC is what canberra Pete (and Gareth) have in thier 20VT caddy/mk 1's.

Thanks mate. Now to get your 16v going! It should be an interesting mk1 turnout at the Wakefield supersprint next year by the sounds of it. This years turnout was already great.

These are the Wossner 9:1 pistons I am using. I always heard forged pistons were a little rattly when cold, but I can't hear anything. So far so good!

That's a beautiful Mk1 there. It'd be nice to see more exterior shots from different angles. It's a real head turner.

What turbo are you using, an what boost levels(psi/bar) do u run with ?

and how much did you torque down your rod bolts & crankshaft cuffs to ?
    Your info would help alot

I am using a gt28rs running a fairly conservative ~12psi. This turbo is still efficient at around 20psi, but seriously there would be no point. The 2.0l spools it up nice and early so it is quite responsive, and while not exactly "linear", its definitely not one of those Jekyl and Hyde setups. I wanted the power delivery to be something you can realistically use on the track.

The rod\main bearing bolts are just torqued to whatever the recommended torque value is. The rods have arp2000 rod fasteners so I had to look up the recommended torque for them.

I decided to isolate the pod filter so that it isn't sucking hot air from the engine bay. So I made an airbox:
