I also have KW V2's in my mk3 but not going to spend that kind of money even with V1s.

I'm also interested to see how this pans out.

Chances are hottuning will be the best bang for your buck.

Ride isn't that back in Josh's. But that's also on standard profile tyres.

I've driven Doms with a full car load, and I don't remember it being overly rough or anything

And be wary that the cabrio has a lot harder springs than a stock mk1 too Steve due to the weight factor...

In my 4 door i had Koni adjustable coilovers in the front and just lowered (and stiffer springs in the back.

It rode as hard as hell but was amazing through corners!

it didn't have that nasty kick back when the rear went out either.

these are about $1500 i think for a full set...not sure about just 2.

    hope this helps.

Ive got Hot Tuning coilovers $750 from evorobin

they go v.low and handle pretty well for what they are they were pretty stiff at the start but have softened up over time.

better than king springs and blown shocks i say!

I'd really like to know how they ride with lower profile tyres.

anyone else with hottunings car to tune in? esp if you have lower profile tyres?

I have hottuning ones also from Evorobin, I am also running standard profile tyres. The ride is a little choppy so I imagine it would be harsh on lower profiles, say 50's would be as low a profile I would want to go.

Handles much better than it did before with standard equipment and it is much lower, which makes it look sweet.

Very cheap product for what you get..
