the mk1 i purchased was running spax shocks and sach springs, i really like the ride, its nice and firm, but its not like riding on nothing at all, i think the car has done about 30k withthe,m and they still feel in good nick....good rebound, good absorbsion. on some roads it does get a bit bumpy though, but hey....ure getting coilovers for one reason and one reason only....and that reason aint comfort

Some of my friend's with drag car's use Spax coilover's in the back, but that's a different story.

I think the spax in Oz are a bit more longer lasting than in Europe.

I remember an european article about which coilover's to buy & the spax bodie's would rust & corrode over a very short period of time, but they weren't the only one's either.

    The H&R, Koni's & KW's were rated the best.

    How much are they asking?

Just saw some Eibach lowering springs for my Pogo - 159.65 pounds sterling + freight. What's that all likely to come to in Aus dollars?

Yeah, Robin ... it was Demon Tweaks that I saw these on. Struck me as a reasonable price.
