    Chrome Window Seal Installation

As the title suggests, I need some tips on how to get the new chrome window sealing strips into the rubber seals.

I did a search and was unsuccessful, but if any of you have a link that would be great!

Remove the windows and fit to the rubber, then reinstall,

Yeah, tin snips, flathead screwdriver and if all else fails, the persuader.

I'd love to see what this tool looks like.

if it's the stuff around the windscreen, then there's a tool for inserting the mylar (the chrome trim bit) I believe you might be able to purchase it as well as a variety of different mylars from RARE SPARES.

If you're talking about the stuff around the side windows, well, I've never used a tool for that, and it's pretty straight forward.

I really need to learn from you then!!!
I have spares because I stripped rusty doors and scrapped them, mangled the first one trying to get it off (it snap-bends easily and then it's ruined).

yea, that's cause the seals are 30 years old, and generally pretty rooted!
