As the title suggests, I need some tips on how to get the new chrome window sealing strips into the rubber seals.
I did a search and was unsuccessful, but if any of you have a link that would be great!

Pain in the ass thing to do. Good luck with it.
Pretty sure there is a special took you can get to help with this.
Yeah, tin snips, flathead screwdriver and if all else fails, the persuader.
I'd love to see what this tool looks like.
i think type 17 right there's a propper too designed for the job.
do you mean the like on the trim stuff on the doors or the stuff around the front windscreen?
if it's the stuff around the windscreen, then there's a tool for inserting the mylar (the chrome trim bit) I believe you might be able to purchase it as well as a variety of different mylars from RARE SPARES.
If you're talking about the stuff around the side windows, well, I've never used a tool for that, and it's pretty straight forward.
yea, that's cause the seals are 30 years old, and generally pretty rooted!
