Count me in for bonnet
also for full 1 peice front end for vr6 . that will probably cost around $5k though
Hey guys,
I've found that you can get carbon fibre bonnets from the US for around $450 but the shipping alone is around $500 which adds up to almost $1K US. So that works out to be around $1388AUS.
I've been thinking I wouldn't mind one of these because I've got a feeling my car will be a dedicated track car not too long after I get it running and fully caged.
So my question is first off is there anyone on here who has a contact to someone who can fabricate bonnets for us?
Secondly does anyone else want in on this?
Please don't outline any safety issues or legalities.

Just realised who you are Mr Will .
I asked Lucas but his suppliers want big $$ to make them . I just want one for the S3 instead of fixing current bonnet . I havent looked into it much yet , been concentrating on the VR6 engine for now

will a c/f bonnet really make that much difference anyway? what king of reduction in weight will you acheive?
