well i got a 24/24 here out of my old renault 15... im sure that'll bolt up
Yellow golf has an old grotty single throat Weber with manual choke. It’s ok but I figure it might be a good place to start for some cheap performance gain.
I grabbed the twin-throat Weber manifold off e-bay last week, so I am looking for something (second hand - but not too buggered) that would bolt up.
I was bidding on a rather nice DCNF till e-bay cancelled the seller’s membership (and all his sales) DOH!!!
So guys, what are my options (max budget for this mod approx $150)

Edit: Still interested in opinions, but after a trip to Peter's Magic Carbie Box - I have a 32/36 in my hot little hand that should keep me out of trouble.

MK1 RALLY CAR
SUPERCHARGED MAZDA323 AUTOCROSS CAR
I think that if economy is not an issue then some flat slide carbys (as seen on them there Le Mans Prosche racer thingys) are the order of the day.
MK1 floG soon to have 16v 2L with cable change gbox - need a 16v turbo manifold
"Fit the gearbox ya bum." Loon - best post ever!
you need a different manifold that fits the carbie that you purchase, apart from that plug and play (make sure the jetting is right )Originally Posted by Darks RS

Thanks all, I may go twins at a later date, I just have to keep reminding myself that this is not meant to be the "big bugdet" rally car (- John Rawson still has custody of that one ) it's just to punt around in at khana events etc
