which cabriolet and golf parts interchange?

After info on whether cabrio interior parts will go into mk1's. The painter that did my car has an american karmen cab import that is in fairly bad shape, but the seats although fairly shagged on their center material have good bolsters. was thinking if he ends up scrapping the car i might grab the seats and get some new middle material put onto them.
anybody know whether the seats and doorcards can be changed between models

It should be entirely universal. Although the doorcards might have 3-point armrests, but it wouldn't be hard to make fit a regular Golf door.

Not sure about Cabby seats, but drivers seat might have height adjustment too? In which case you'd probably want to swap them to be the correct way 'round for a RHD car.

Hi, the cabby front seats should just slide in your mk1 without any problem unless its an afician citi import. the rear seats are slight wider on the bottom and narrow at the top, but im sure they mount differently.....nothing about of modification would sort out.

Should be no dramas, as I bought a set of 5 door seats from Pete Jones, and they 'slid' straight into the Cabby !!

I have a set of Cabby door cards you can have to try them out, b4 you buy.

Mark- Did those rear seats have the clips at the top on the seat or the pegs that slot into the clips on the car?
