    sanded two of the faces today, also booked the golf in for an exhaust - 2 inch the way through, thats happening tomorrow.

    car made its way into the canberra vw centre because it conked it and wouldnt start, not entirely mad though because it was meant to be in there on thursday anyway.
    But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. People are like, "wonder what he does for living."

    I had fixed half the broken crap but that just meant it was still halfway inoperable

    cheers man, yours we're a large part of why i did it, i think they look awesome. hope you dont mind but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right i am trying to not make them look different but its pretty hard to.

    going to pick up some mk4 seats that have been modified for a mk2 today, dont know how well the back will work but the fronts will go straight in.

    the seats werent converted for a mk2, turns out the car they were in was converted to use them since the mk4 rails are still there.

    getting a mirror finish doesnt exist, its official.

    all the way through to 2k grit and its not even close to reflective. mght try a cutting compound through to polish and see if that helps.

    Polish will do wonders mate. Sandpaper won't give it shine, just a brushed finish.

    Yeah what browneye said. The 2k is just step one, then use a cutting compound and only then use polish
