    Broken the VW

Yep ripped the bolts out of the steering rack moutning brackets on the weekend. No car at the moment as I don't really have the parts to lift her up in the air and safely repair here.

It felt funny the other day, I reckon that was when the first one sheered off.

Anyway driving a magna now, niceeeeeee

After only 6months? Sheesh, man up bro.

check your coil is getting juice, make sure the hall sender plug(on dizzy) is in well (popped out on me once and was stranded for a minute). Got fuel? check fuses? it is usually something very simple..

Its just letting you know you hav'nt spent enough money on it yet ...

Do it all first up then you only need do the servicing, My Daily has almost 120K on the rebuilt drivetrain / wiring i put in back in 2003, still no probs...
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

You have to remember it is basically a 30 year old car at heart! Once you learn it inside and out the problems are pretty easy to diagnose. Get a good manual and frequent the vwvortex as any answers that aint here are there.

    ps. what is the problem?!

Well not to get away from the OP but went to start the car this afternoon after I got home from work and the car turned on, from this morning when after warming it up it didn't want to go and wouldn't start

dunno Dom, maybe driving her a bit hard??

    Anyway hopefully a cheap fix.

I am happy, she does me well, the minor incident is allowed, as long as the repair is cheap
