    Brake Light Switch

    Hi all

I have a 92 Citi Golf imported from South Africa. We have found that the majority of parts are that of a Cabriolet.

Having a bit of trouble with the rear brake lights, which we believe may be the switch.

Can anybody give me a heads up where this is located? I was thinking at the pedal, but an auto electrician suggested its at the master cylinder.

    cheers

Should be two sensors off the master cylinder under the hood.

If not, it will be at the pedal

correct, it is a sensor/switch in the master cylinder. A good OEM will do the trick.
