So, how many Mk1 GTIs are there really in Australia? Surely with the contacts on this forum we can establish a pretty well educated guess.

That GTI looks fab. Makes me miss my mk1 LS even more. Hope to own one someday, Most likely imported im guessing at how many are out here. Why did the Aussies get ripped off. Stupid exchange rate ruined it.
