Still no pics?
having arrived back home from the UK after being away for 8 years, i was offered the 1976 mk1 golf 2 door that had been sitting in my cousin's driveway for the previous 18 months. a lovely car that i had driven many times as it has been passed around the family and has a certain amount of sentimental value. i got her started and cleaned her up, dusting off the cobwebs and enjoying the eureka moment. i thought she would require only minor works, such as a carby and manifold, engine mounts, brakes etc.
unfortunately upon further investigation it will be necessary for more substantial works, and unfortunately i do not have the room to do such at this time. i thought to try and pass her on to an enthusiast to bring her back to her former glory, not realising there were certain rules i had to follow in order to offer her up for adoption on this forum. sincere apologies for any offence taken.

If I was closer I would adopt her but I live a bit too far away Goodluck with finding her a new home.
I'm going to the pub... I may be some time...
stress less mate. People get their knickers in a knot about nothing sometimes.
No stress Chris.
BTW this Mk1 doesnt happen to be orange does it?
As I have seen an orange one in a carport near Ruffy lake park.
no worries chris, but if you want to try and sell something, helps if you have some more specifics.
I am interested in it, please PM me or post here with more info about the car and some pics maybe?
Cheers
