    FROM THE MASTER HIMSELF

    got an email tonight

"You can do a group buy and ship. Shipping is cheaper the larger the
shipment. Each kit weighs around 100lbs (42 kilos) Shipping is $1.98 per
lb. If you order 3 kits or more at once, I will pay 1/2 of the shipping.

Well, considering how much airbags cost anyway, just go with a set of coilovers until you can afford good air bag suspension, I'm 18 and can't afford to do much to my car either, mostly cos I have a life and I spend in small amounts 10X over... otherwise I'd have a mk1 3 door waiting to get a TDi motor put in.

I'd get a set of coilovers anyway. Looks, handling and ride quality, rather than just looks and nothing else - all for less money

Hate to say it matey, but alot of people have air bags (not exactly VW) or are in the process of fitting them & I think these will be done to death very soon, if not already have been.
I can count on every finger, thumb & toes of friends who are fitting or have had airbags fitted & are trying to convice me to fit them to my truck. (airbags on leaf springs just don't cut it for burnouts!)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not for, nor against them.

If they've been fitted in a professional looking way & are classy, I can appreciate them.

I dunno im still thinking about it. For da 6k i can get coilovers and drop in a 16v true? but then there is the new performance laws to deal with.

I dunno, ill see what happens when i get the interior done.

you haveta think of practicality for daily driving, and airbags would be a pain in the @rse.

your better to go with a 16v and coilovers set up... people do coilovers to death because they're bloody good.

The law is under 110kw, and the ABF and the KR 16v's are both within limits... anyway, who's going to know really
