You'd want a manifold that had injectors that plugged into the manifold, that way the injectors and fuel rail would be able to be easily retro fitted. Otherwise you'd have to fit them into the head. Some heads have injector holes (Kjet IIRC) some don't (EFI, IIRC)
Obviously you'll need an ECU. standalone = tuning & set up time and costs. Factory means wiring hassles. Getting it all spliced in wouldn't be for the faint hearted, but it would give great reliabilty/driveability etc.
Obviously EFI fuel lines, fuel pump etc etc.
Throttle body, with a TPS probably, and some form of AFM/MAF or MAP sensor.
Then timing, standalone (MSD) would be nice, but could probably runa 2E style distributor, if it fitted. IIRC, the 1.8 dizzy needs and apator/spacer shim to fit into the 2L block. I'm not sure if it would work the other way around, but maybe there is a 1.8 dizzy that'll work with the ECU regardless.
Legal issues: If you run EFI in a non EFI car, you are probably meant to run a Cat, carbon canister etc, all the things the donor car came from. If it's a retro fitted jobbie, then it may be different, but either way, I'd check out legal complications first, no good having a car that's illegal. :/
They're just a few thoughts off the top of my head (it's late too, so fingers crossed they all make sense, and are on or atleast close to the money)
