PS - mollins should not be embarrassed - he didnt put those springs in his car
hey guys,
I write to you as mollins did in a state of shock, but also embarrasment.
driving up highway to taree monday afternoon (after fixin up mike with a replacement strut to get home) i found my car begin to swerve wildy when not going straight (not good on wet slippery road at 100).
pulled over thinking i had a flat - all tyres fine.
then thought maybe i had loose camber bolt - both fine.
popped the hood and found that one of the steering rack mount nuts had come undone (i suppose my fault) - so i did that up...
..as i drove off i could hear a clunking noise.
stopped again, looked under car to see my RHS wishbone pivot bolt was undone, and no longer threaded.
I bow down to murphy and beg forgiveness.....
