    That thing is a beast get it over its so worth who cars how much it costs to rego it....im going through the ropes now to get a left hand drive import registered and it dosnt seem too bad a few hurdles but so worth it....first thing you gotta do is VSCCS which stands for vehicle safety compliance certification scheme....thats nsw not sure bout vic though might be a totally different process which stupid...

    Well its took sometime but the MK1 is finally on its way over...the ship left the uk on the 22/10....roll on 5 weeks..

    Nice one Neil. Lose that rear wing contraption and you'll have a winner. Looks good even on the OEM alloys!

    Although, smaller tail lights are better, haha.

    For people in Victoria, I will be needing a roady on the gti, were do you guys recommend? South east Melbourne would be preferred but i don't mind if I have to travel.

    i'm in the same boat as you mate - let me know how you end up going, i'll be taking my mk1 in in a couple weeks or so
