That adjusts the rear brake bias based on the load you're carrying

Oh wow, that's crazy. Never seen that before. I'm not entirely sure it works, it has a lot of play. Any issues with removing it?

Went to mount up the manual boost controller today and tucked it away next to the brake booster but still reachable. However the more I did research, apparently the boost controller messes up the engine as the boost is controlled electronically on the 20vt motors..... So I may have jumped the gun. Anyone confirm?

Also exhaust tip is welded on, looks so good. Pics don't do it any justice, really happy with the outcome. Got around to putting the drive shafts on, needless to say even with 10 measurements I still got it wrong.... The shaft hits for 2-3mm. So I banged the dump pipe and now it clears, but only a tiny bit. I'd imagine under acceleration the dump to hit the drive shaft... Time will tell.

I'll start taking better pics soon, I promise haha.

Ps. Yes my garage is messy, but its got too many projects going on for me to sort out lol

Finally put everything back together and the little ant is sitting on it's own legs.

    Things left to do:
    Radiator plumbing
    One fuel line
Turbo 2.5" to cooler piping (chasing aluminium for weight savings)
    Properly mount intake
    ........ And wiring.

I've called up a fair few vw specialists around melb that didn't have any time supposedly, pshh. Anyhow stu from the forum said he'd give a hand, and that's all I'm waiting for really. The issue thst I'm missing the second half of the loom to the fuse box with I think all the t10? Plugs so hopefully we can work something out.

That's it guys, really happy with the exhaust tip, love it. Oh and also had issues mounting the huge bosch 044 haha but it's nice and snug. No pics sorry

Looking sick mate, I can't believe how far out those back wheels are. Have you got spacers on it or something?

    Thanks woody, appreciate it dude!

So another hard week at work means another pay check blown on the car haha. Reaaaaally busting my balls to get it ready for Halfway hangs up in nsw for an awesome cruise up with the boys from the forum and stanceworks.

Went out and bought all the rest of the intercooler goods, and slim line fan. Also some bits for the rad hoses

Most of the piping is aluminium, so at the ends I bent it with pliers to help the hoses stay on when boost comes on. I had a small metal pipe which I welded on some bits like this to help as well.

Got everything on. It's now just about done. There's not much left I can personally do. I had vr6t bora Stu come past yesterday as he will be helping me with the wiring in return for my sexual favours lol. Either way, a lot of basic wiring needs to be sorted such as starter signal etc. so this morning I have a day off and have came home with a bag full of goods from jay car. I'll be sorting all the preliminary wiring and he will come back to try and wire up the actual motor.

    How it currently stands.

    Update time, update time.

Been messing around with all the wiring. Not just the motor but the whole car.

    So far I've got working thst wasn't previously working;
    Fuel level sendor
    Wipers
    Relayed headlights
    Number plate lights

I've spent most of the time updating the old bullet style fuses to newer blade type. I have done this by removing all the fuses, and putting terminals on the copper and metal ends. Then running those wires to a jay car type adaptor.

What I've got to work with (even messier now)

    Here's a reference shot

All finished up. I tested it, and they all work, everything is working fine. I decided to do this for a bit more reliability and piece of mind is all.

    Relayed headlights working good

Now ...... The good news. SHE STARTS!! I had wired everything up, set all nice big ground points, everything is on point, and I was a bit anxious always looking for people to do my wiring for the motor and no one had the time. So decided to just do it myself, read a simple diagram and out the important wires where they need to go, and just for a laugh I said to my dad, let's fire it up... And low and behold she did.

Didn't let it run for long as the air flow sensor, n75, O2 sensor, rad fan and a few other things need to be done. This will all be sorted in the next week, and hope to take it for a spin. Super duper excited and happy at this point. Looks like it may be done to halfway hangs!!!

More small exciting bits coming too.
