Gee your getting things done!
Wow Paul, that's quite the selection!
Got the rear main seal from VW, popped it in, clutch in, gearbox on, after many battles motor package in. Done for tonight as I've for work tomorrow. Next is fuel lines, cooler piping, dump pipe and exhaust, radiator piping. I may have found a bloke to do my wiring, so we'll see.

Gee your getting things done!
That's mad. Got the weekend off bud let me know if you need a hand.
Love your work George!
Had some time after work to finish off the extended strut tops, came up pretty shmick. So keen to give it a go and see the difference in comfort.
Did most of the plumbing today, and other bits and pieces, it's slowly coming together. Also among other things I've begun the down pipe. Lots of mucking around to get the perfect fit as it's very snug in there. Will be getting a flex pipe and fitting it on tomorrow and try to finish all the bends.
EDIT: have no idea why pics are flipped, sorry

Finally got around to making finishing off the dump pipe and flex pipe too. Avoids everything and clears pretty well for a 3".
Here she is on the car
Managed to fit one side of the cooler piping, air filter and air flow also fitted. Radiator bolted in place and most of the plumbing done.
Spoke to an electrician who came past, and said it should be relatively simple, but he has no time. Called Boris from volkscare, but he has no time either. Anyone else in Melbourne who can help me tackle the wiring? Anyone have a mk4 full wiring diagram.... Desperately need one.
Coming together slowly.

Don't forget to build some flex in the plumbing between the motor and the intercooler to allow for engine movement when the engine is revved.
Looks like a decent dump pipe. Nice job George
Went out to Victoria performance warehouse yesterday and picked up a bosche 044 pump, pretty big but it's what they suggested. Got some fittings, and also some exhaust tape for $10 couldn't resist.
Also made up some brackets to use the mk4 washer bottle. No benefit from this at all, apart from the ease of the plumbing.
Finally had a full day on the exhaust, finished everything off. I'm exhausted! Such a. Tiny chassis to run 3" through. Especially had issues with the rear beam. But it's finally done and hooked up to a varex muffler, wait til the tip is on
Also while under the car, I noticed this contrapment of sorts...it seamed like a lever was hooked up to the beam, and with some sort of up/down movement would activate this master cylinder. It's part of the rear brake lines..... Anyone know what is is?
