No pics as of yet guys.

But have been battling with the 02j swap and all that jazz.
List of things done in the past 2-3 months.

mk4 cable shift linkages (feels amazing)
    16v flywheel
    vr6 clutch
custom drive shafts new boots etc
    02j 100mm flange gearbox
honda eg clutch pedal box welded into chassis
tilton remote master 19.5mm bore with custom braided line and 02a metal slave cylinder

Im waiting on the braided line to be changed a bit and it should be (crossed fingers) driving again tonight for the first time in months. Will try get some pics!

Have been stupidly busy with this car, I cannot begin to explain. The lead up to 100mm was crazy. Trying to get everything done in time was a nightmare but finally got there in the end.

Test fitting my new 14x6 volk racing spirit artisans

Spent a few nights at the polishers, what a daunting task!

Amongst the polishing trying on some of my buddy's AME fatlace wheels 15x8.5 et15! Sat lovely

Also bought a lovely new gti. Was super hard to find a 2dr manual gti, so my girlfriend and I flew up to Adelaide and drove it back home. This has also been taking up a lot of my time! Got some Audi 19" roters and some bc coilovers!

Ok back to the mk1. I had to lower it. Alooooot to tuck the 14s with my super duper hard to find 155/55/14s. The sump was touching the floor, along with exhaust and the entire body pretty much. Bump stops had to be cut, and plenty more rubbish. I can't wait for air ride ...... Anyway had to make an emergency sump guard

Anyway, after many sleepless nights and months of prep here she is as of this weekend.

I have so much more photos but Jesus I hate using photo bucket, it's frustrating and so laggy on my iPad.

I'll try sneak a few more

    Looked good George!

Id like to see some glossy black plastic bumpers on it to really make the paint pop and give it that 80's euro look!

    those wheels are amazingly cool

how you managed to get that low is beyond me, have any issue with driveshaft clearances etc? did you have to notch the frame or anything?
But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. People are like, "wonder what he does for living."
I just reply, "your daughter, sir." - some dude on stanceworks

I had fixed half the broken crap but that just meant it was still halfway inoperable

Nah woody, chrome bumpers for the win! You should know this by now hehe. Chrome just sits so well on the metallic brown

It's one thing in pictures, and another thing seeing it sit flat belly on my street because it's too low to drive in hahaha. Yeah heaps of issues dude, did a c notch on Friday and am still yet to weld them in (silly, I know I knot) also the strut top extenders I made, help a lot! Bump stops cut in half, etc etc haha.
