the car has been in our family since 1991, marty (twin eng, twin turbs) and i both learned to drive on it and it's now part of the family. it was totally original when we got it. around 10 years ago it was resprayed and fitted with a 1.8, so this is it's second respray and new engine, but this time around marty is doing a ground-up rebuild.

Pistons and crank in. Windage tray and new high volume oil pump in too. Mk4 Recaro's in the background getting ready to go in soon.
