    and the build continues...

    8v now out of the car and getting the bay for a DIY paint job, hopefully it turns out OK!

    picking up the 16v in two weeks.

    also, does anybody know where i can look/buy twin delortto manifold to suit KR 16v?

    These guys are awsome. Tim has one of their 8v cross flow manifolds and it looks the business.

    cheers woody, emailed the blokes and they have the one I need, will order shortly.

    also is it possible to use 8v headers on a 16v if i change the flange? ie are the pipe diameters and spacing the same? don't have the engine in here to check myself yet.

    finally, been reading up on the net in regards to choosing a radiator. the standard mk1 radiator probably won't fit due to clearance, seen a number of mk1 16v with side drafts running small sandwich style radiators with a really thick core, any opinions in to which would be best or what works well? thanks

    Pretty sure the space on a 8v is II II where as the 16v is I I I I (I being the exhuast port) so no your extractors will not work. And check out Alex G's radiator. You can use I think a Honda civic which is thick and not as wide. Or have something made up!
