76 or 77?
The RA23 is the only Celica I like and that's my best mate's fault. Any chance it's got something other than an 18R in it?
it's a 76...nah just the stock engine...he was looking at doing the most common twin webber conversion...i forget what it's called, the japs use too many letters/numbers lol...
also spoke to steve...his not looking to sell the mk1 unless he runs out of cash while overseas! haha

TA22 is one of my favs, and the RA28.
Mate had a RA40 that i put a 18RG twin can with twin carbs in it. Would lite up inside wheel coming out of a corner in 3rd
And there is a Few Mk1's in the for sale section.

finally had a day off work so took the time to give the car a once over and bit of a service...
all is well...except the passenger side outter cv joint has been loosing a fair amount of grease...
i have not noticed or heard anything symptoms of a shot cv whilst driving and i replaced the boot and re-packed it with grease before putting it together....
is this the early sign of a damaged cv? or perhaps did i over pack it with grease?
any thoughts would be appreciated before i pull it apart, thanks!

If you have not crimped the boot properly you may find it seeps out. You only lose grease via the boot, it is not an indication of the CV itself.
You still want that passenger fender?
