really just waiting on my seats now, i sent them off to be fabricated so hopefully within the next week i'll have them back, other than that i should start looking into rego now and getting my cams license etc, because it is not far off all (i've said this so many times already i know!! ahah)

    Nice work, Dude.

Notice how the VWMS strut brace doesn't have bends in it?

thanks dude! yeah I notice a few guys were running so I was chasing one down for quite a while...it's got some weight to it ay, I was surprised

also wondering what the go was for driving the car unregistered? I know you can drive to a workshop if the work getting done is for registration purposes...does this include the exhaust shop for the hangers & wheel alignment? and can I insure the car unregistered? or doesn't it matter if something was to happen anyway? hmmmmmmm

    not sure about insurance,

But you can get a Permit to drive it to any workshop to get work done to it. but you have to take the shortest route there.

Most of the unregistered cars i have bought for parts and what not, i have got a permit and drove them home cheaper and more fun then a trailer haha

yeah think i might do the same, but im guessing the laws in NSW are different because im sure you dont need a permit, just an appointment at the place your going to...and yes i bet its more lol hopefully i can save the fun still after i get some plates on it! ahah

Pretty sure the $45 you pay for the permit covers the insurance...

Cant get a permit in NSW without a pinkslip! You can drive for rego purposes and to be safe you should write yourself a statement of intent and then you are sweet.

I have to say if anyone ever rang me from the side of the road and said could I confirm to the police that they were on their way to the shop for work for rego, I would have to say yes

    Ahh,

In TAS its different, Just pay a $45 fee and you can drive all day if you have to. You just have to put where you going and to where.
And you can get the permit for up to 4 weeks

Yep Loon is 100% correct. Go your hardest, just don't do anything silly and you'll be fine.

can anybody tell me what goes behind the front seat belt inertia reels? i'm sure it's a plastic trim of some description...was after a photo or link to what I should be looking at/for? i've sifted through my boxes of junk and can't find anything that resembles what it should look like...such a minor thing which is very frusterating...please help!

    i'm sure for a fact that it's different to the 4-door set-up!

    thanks.
