    How good is winton as a track? I love it man. Carbs sounds awesome too

    What issues arose?

    When I used to race my Honda I was on 1.44 and you look pretty quick so I'd say your time would have been much better than 1.51 with a proper timer!

    Just some alternator issues that prevented me from getting the whole way home. Rear main seal is leaking (I suspect). I'm going to replace both front wheel bearings and ball joints. They're all original 1976 hardware still

    Good to see you're using the correct MK1 high tech lateral gravitational measuring device and it's mounted properly - hanging from the rearview mirror.

    Car sounds good.

    Sounds good is an understatement. This thing sounds incredible in the flesh... spot on job with the track day! I really need to get **** together for the next track day haha

    You going to reinforce it or just weld it up?

    The plan is to weld the crack and reinforce with a strut brace. Hopefully that will be sufficient to prevent it happening again

    Ouuuuch. Suspension is too stiff by the looks of it! Could it be the lack of washer?
