76 rear door vents?

On my 76 at the bottom of the rear doors behind the interior panel there is a rubber flap to seal off the vent (dust?)
Which side does the flap go?

Hi.
They attach from the inside the door. When driving along the cabin is pressurized by having the heater and or vents open. The flaps move away from the door frame and allow air to escape. When stationary or the cabin is not pressurized the just hang down and sort of seal.
