    76' LS Restoration

Hey guys, The names Dennis and i'm new to the site. I gladly took Daniels beloved Putt Putt off his hands.

I was wondering (And i'm sorry if this is has been posted before) who supplies Mk1 Golf parts in the south of Tasmania. I know of Bocchino Motors, but I do not want to deal with them. (Father used to work for them)

    Greatly appreciated, thanks guys

    Dennis

Nice to hear another '76 LS restoration happening. I've got an original early '76 LS (Swallowtail), soon to be converted to diesel (call me stupid, but i'm a mad keen diesel fan).

    Welcome to the team.
Will have to come down to tassie some time too.

Ha, no I wouldn't call you stupid at all, Diesel vehicles are getting to the point where they are almost superior to petrol's. A bit of insider information, Ford is bringing out a Focus Diesel (Judging by the specs, it's gonna fly too)

Ed, My old man mentioned that name to me. (My father owned a Silver 1978 MK1 GLS and also was apart of a VW club. Because we still have relatives in Germany, got a GTI badge sent down, threw some new plastic bumpers on it and then got given some stupid Decal that he put on the bonnet).. It's still roaming the streets of hobart Reg is KB5555.. What I wouldn't do to get my hands on it
