Got this mk1 looking mint in the inside!
First of all! Mk1 golf and rust are Inevitable! When I stripped the carpet I was astonished, no rust at all in the foot wells!
I seriously can't believe how clean this golf is.
Used hot water and abit of detergent to clean the inside and rubbed it down with a dry cloth, then vacumed all the carpet outside and then placed all the carpet back in.
I was fiddling around with the front seat belts, the passenger seatbelt is in place but the driver seatbelt I've got issues with!
The retractor has stopped and won't feed any belt in or out!
ive looked around this gadget and looks like theres no pin thats visible to release The belt, is there a solution to fix?

elton: knox auto carpets do brand new carpets, amongst others. Have a search in the mk 1 section, it was covered sometime ago, all the info you'll want is in there.
