    36 IDF on a 1.6 8v?

are there manifolds out there for an IDF for an 8v or would i need to get something made up? is it worth it compared to a DGAV or another down drought weber?

They exist but most people would run side draughts.

Chris Preen owned a single IDF manifold once upon a time. It got sold with the motor it was on to go into a cabrio.

so im guessing that single manifolds are either really rare or they get custom made by someone?

Performance manifolds for MK1s are all rare second hand. Only slightly easier to find brand new.

thanks for the help pete. really appreciate it. just asking because we've got 2 floating around out in the shed and thought it might be good to put one to use. i might keep my eye out for one but for the time being ill just stick to the standard carb or a different weber.
    Cheers. Tim
