    Time for an update.

Not much to report on Ratbag but Madman has had some serious weight reduction.

And the loom is coming along well.

Seriously though it was proving too hard to figure out what we did and didn't need with the loom so the whole lot came out including the dash. With the firewall painted we were able to bolt the tacho onto the top of the steering column.

And the exhaust is now pretty much sorted, straight out the side baby!

The next two pics are trying to figure out how it is all going to line up under the hood. Below is the lower bracket which needs to hold both the alternator and the super charger (after a bit of a trim). At the base is a Peterson 3 stage dry sump pump taken from a V8 Sprintcar in Ohio USA, and you can see the bottom pulley has already had a fair amount of modification.

Somehow we still need to fit a radiator, intercooler, supercharger, throttle body, oil cooler, oil tank, electric water pump, alternator and all the plumbing into this space. It all seems to line up ok but we will have to see.

So that's where we are at.

Well it's been ages between updates here on VWW but as always progress has been made. I am getting close to being able to start RATBAG for the first time so i'm getting pretty pumped.

Loads of pics can be found HERE!

As for now here is a little taste of what i've been up to . . .

PROGRESS I am going to keep this short because I have just spent the last 2 hours updating this build in my BLOG and I am tired

Anyway, I got some 3mm polycarb and made my own windows.

Tow hook, bonnet pins and duckbill on. Made some ally covers for the bumper holes

Here is a dummy fit of my dash, kill switch hoocked up

    *hooked*

Stripped down my 45mm Webers, and gave them a degrease and a bath in an ultrasonic cleaner

Rebuilt with new jets & chokes

Making some room to get the seat nice and low.

If you want more check my build in tha sig
