They are out there, but most have been flogged, crashed or had the tops cut off to make cabrios! Thats why there are more decent 5 door ones kicking about. 5 door ones go just as fast I look for 2 years for a decent 2 door and then found a rust free 5 door with 70,000kms on it. It wasn`t a hard choice

as Loon said, find a nice 4 door (or 5 whatever u prefer to say) buy that and if your really keen on the 2 door look... weld the rear doors shut and put in a 2 door style rear window ... that'll do the trick

I stumbled across mine parked up in a Midas down town. Just lucky I reckon.

    Haha, i like this idea.

Alright, so if i find a 3 door over the next few months, i should just snap it up for fear of not finding another one.

    Thanks for the hasty replies...

    Phil

i also noticed that in the classifieds Valver was selling his interior, and he has harnesses on his seats... i thought these were illegal?? Please someone, prove me wrong!

Well im pretty sure in NSW that the harnesses arent street legal but some people who genuinely use them still keep their original retractable seatbelts for road use. I have no idea about other states tho.

    I think you're correct there. It's a bit of a grey area.

ADRxx of 1976 states that inertia reel belts must be fitted.
Road rules states that seat belts must be worn.

Interpret that as you see it
