1986 1.8 GTI Cabriolet oil dipstick Needed

Hey again!!!!!!!

does anyone have a, or know where i can purchase a new/second hand oil dipstick from? The current one i have does not fit correctly and have been told my engine will be losing pressure build up and under performing.

Also when idling the car revs annoyingly could this have something to do with lack of engine pressure or is there and throttle issue?

Hi,

From what I know, yes, a dipstick that does not fit correctly can cause rough idling. That's what I would be checking first, especially if you know there is something wrong with it.
