Wow, they look brand spanking new!
Is it a perfectly looked after set, or did they get a top-notch refurbishment?

They are refurbed. They have been cleaned up pretty well, but you can still see a few marks on the part of the rim that is normally covered by the tyre. The wheels are newly painted, too. On one of the wheels there is some minor pitting on the outer chrome lip, but by and large they look first rate.

I'm not sure how I'll go sorting out that centre cap though. I've asked the seller for a replacement, but his communication is a bit slack, so I'm not expecting much there. I might have to try and source some parts from BBS, which will be expensive for a couple of bits of plastic, haha.

They're not all that hard to come by, might be worth buying a whole set though.

Cheers. The seller is going to see what he can find for me, so hopefully that comes up trumps.

They look powdercoated to me. The rings I have should still be useable and, in theory, the actual BBS plastic cap should unclip and be re-used on the existing ring if need be.

I thought you meant the entire cap was pounded but yeah the caps split into three almost the same as RS's

Yeah, looks good. Although it's interesting how the lower profile tyres make it look a bit higher than it did on the 13s.

Starting it after a week sitting idle doesn't seem to pose a problem at all. It's starting it after driving for 20 mins or so and then leaving it sit for an hour or two.

I hadn't driven the car for almost 2 weeks tonight and got it going no dramas. It coughs and splutters a bit, but it'll start.
