By the way, the 4 headlight grill is the trademark thing that everyone thinks of with a Mk1 GTI. Although technically you are correct in putting a 2 headlight grille on, it loses some GTIness in my book and just looks like all the other aussie Mk1s. Plus you cant see at night. Just my 2c.

Yeah, I know what you mean Matt. I will def be keeping the twin headlight grille anyway, so we'll see how it goes.

Congrats, owning a Mk1 GTI is probably on most people here's wishlists, but few will get the opportunity to make it a reality.
