Haha SLAMPS popped into my head last night, but i figured nobody would know wtf I was on about!

I just bought two 1.8m lengths of 190x19mm and cut a 300mm, 400mm, 500mm length and was left with 600mm.
Including the trip to the hardware shop it took me about half an hour haha.
    Makes it so much easier.

I used to use them every few weeks when I decided to raise/lower my car.
They never slid out and I use the handbrake or gearbox to stop the car from moving.
Probably not the best way but eh.

Funny how mentioned this to you!

No matter what people will advice you on, there is some stuff that will always get the better of you & can't help but fiddling around with the un-important stuff

Good stuff Jace. Keep it up

It doesn't look like there is much left too

I really, really appreciate that guys.

Hopefully replacing the three super bad points of the bodywork, if i get the parts tomorrow.
I've perfected the interior; besides a 1.5cm rip in the c-pillar trim, and obviously a cracked dashboard, it's literally flawless.

I think I need a rocker cover gasket, probably should get an air filter, clean the spark plugs, fuel and oil filter have been replaced and i'll have it back on some RWC tires next week. Then all that needs doing is the chip in the windshield.

When I say I'm doing the wrong stuff first, I mean that I really want to fix the small amount of bad rust in the car; windscreen surround and side window sills, and that's about it. But I feel like I'm wrongly prioritizing things because I can't fix the rust and other small issues myself (no air compressor, welder, and minimal skills in that respect). I'm failing emotionally and finding it hard to get motivated.

Did this over the last week/weekend:

I'll probably give them a slight cut and polish, then a wax once I'm certain the paint is cured competely. Will hopefully make the paint last for a good while!

I would really like some nice subtle 13" or 14" wheels though. 'Pepperpots', Riken or Epsilon or SSR 'Mesh/Meshies', all-silver ATS classics etc.
    One day...

Pretty happy with how the wheels came out.
    Just been tidying, constantly tidying.

I cleaned up a few of the rust patches and sprayed some primer over them. Looks sht but better than looking at rust!
