H&R springs will lower the car nicely
either 35/55 or 25/40mm drop
Hi all the way from Scotland folks, just looking for some general advice...
I'm looking to put a set of either 18x8 BBS CH or CH-R Satin black on my 2011 polo gti (flash red). Can anyone recommend a tyre size that gives that nice stretched look?? Also, be nice to see what the general opinion of these wheels on this car are.
And....
I'm looking to lower the car just so that the lip of the arch sits nice above the tyre. Can this be done with currently available aftermarket springs?? or would i be better off stumping up for coilovers?? How far will I need to drop it on an 18inch wheel with say, a 215/35 tyre??
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you ever used these springs yourself mate?? If so, whats your opinion of them?? Are they a comfortable/hard drive etc??
i also suggest you go to tyre stretch website, and look at the stretch you will get with the tyre u want to run.

Cheers for that last bit of info, had no idea those websites existed!
215/35 isnt stretched. And do you really need stretch on such a skinny wheel?
^ NOW THAT SIR IS F**KIN' NAICE!!!
That's exactly what I would be aiming for whenever can actually afford coil overs...
