    Are we totally sure that the steel wheel bolts are the same length as the alloy wheel bolts? The steel wheel is probably only 1-2 mm thick and the alloy quite a bit more.

    I've bought a set of aftermarket rims and the bolts supplied with them are longer than the original factory bolts that came with the detroits. As a result they were not supplied with lock nuts.
