Damn the A45 is a sexy piece of machinery. I'd be tempted if I had that sort of coin to play with.

I can see it wrapped in Matte Orange with dark tint

If you squint a little on this pic, maybe you can imagine it better

Will be a Merc somewhere in the A to CLA bracket.

I'm done with VW too. Polo has just left such a bad taste in my mouth.........

Yep, I saw a mint candy white Scirroco R this morning heading down heidelburg road and that would have made me stare with desire 12 months ago. Now, all I think is "you stupid bas*ard, I hope you got a manual!"

I was actually in the process of buying a Karmann Ghia which for those of you unfamiliar:

I was going to do it as a faithful resto/custom powered by a 1.8Turbo motor from a Mk4 GTI/9n or a V5 from a bora (coz with an open exhaust they sound awesome) but now, no chance.

Stage 2+ Intercooler Carbon Intake Downpipe Swaybar DV+ Remsa.

Had a ride in a clio last weekend. It had an Akrapovic exhaust and sounded really nice without being overly loud. I found the seats quite hard and the ride far too harsh.

I havent developed a mistrust of VAG yet so assuming I cant find a guy down the pub selling cheap caymans I'll stay here. I'd still give a left nut for a 3 pedalled polo gt. I've got 2 1/2 years to convince VWA its worth bringing here. A 90tsi audi a1 would do me quite OK but not sure its worth the extra coinage. We'll see how the golf 7 develops and if OK maybe I can stretch myself to a comfortline when the time comes. If not, hopefully VW have ditched the stupid bluetooth screen and I'll just rock up for the next gen polo comfortline.

The A250 Sport gets a fail mark from me...for 54k on the road I'd get the Volvo V40 R-Design damn she was planted and its faster than a Golf R

Another MINI cooper s... The polo gti hasn't got the same steering feeling or the chassis balance as my old R53. Or maybe the Clio rs, but that have to be proven,if it still has the same chassis balance as the previous model.

Hahaha, that rings a bell. I said to my better half, was thinking of getting a new car (A or R) and the reply I got was 'new car, new wife' - could have been a good option, but I chose my worded reply carefully

If you showed even the slightest hesitation before replying, then you're in trouble, mate.
Now gone.... 2012 Skoda Fabia RS
