they may even finally make a "proper" Polo R

AWD, not just a FWD, and in RHD so we can buy it. And yes I know the A1 is a rebodied Polo, hence the hope for a PoloR, and if not then I more than happy to settle with a S1

Renault Clio Review: Long-term report one | CarAdvice

If the normal car reviewers are complaining about the auto its a bit of a worry (not just the brits who dedicate 3 paragraphs to every auto only car to pine on about manuals). Is the same box in the Clio RS?

Try 2016 mate. Ford announced the Mustang would be released in the months prior to ford Australia closing the doors...

Shame we have to wait so long because the new GT looks soooo good! Definitely less 'Mercia and more Euro

I've been on carsales a few times over the past couple months and there's a black mk6 R 3dr that's grabbed my attention. Does anyone want an overpriced low k 12.5 Polo GTI? :p

Following a return to oil consumption after the breather mod, I am close to pulling the pin on my GTI. A Ford dealer has a Fiesta Metal they will do for a great price and give me $19k trade in for my 12.5 GTI.

I know the Fiesta Metal will in no way compare with the GTI as it is 30kw down but something inside of me wants the security of a less tuned, but still fun car, this might be my chance to safely cut and run. Unfortunately the ST route starts to stretch my budget too far if I'm ditching the polo so soon.

    What do people think?

I used to just say the Polo was fine as at least VW will fix it, but now I'm losing faith that they can in fact fix things and sooner or later I will be stuck with a problematic car with little or no warranty.
