    What would you recommend?

    Hello guys,

I just wanted to know which brake pads, for the Polo GTI, would you recommend?

(Price, quality and where to get them etc.)

And I would also like to know from someone that has done the HP DQ 200 DSG tune and has had it on the car for a while, if it's really worth it and if it works fine.

    Thanks.

    Talk to GSL Rallysport.
They are a SE QLD based forum sponsor and I have always heard good things about them and their product knowledge.
Good value and quick shipping across Aus.

Thanks for this, I'm actually looking at getting the whole kit n kaboodle from GSL, new fluids, DBA4838S rotors on front and DBA803S on rears + the remsa pads (with a cheeky set of weitech hicon GT coilovers) looks like the whole lot will be around $2-2.5k.

Textar, ATE or genuine if you still want it to stop.

Not sure on the other 2 but even after a proper bed in, my genuine pads were toast within my first week of ownership. Hooked up the Motec to test actual braking distance and got ~1.5m less from 100kph with the Remsa pads. After a couple of hard stops on the factory pads I would have more luck slowing down by opening all the doors!!

If you like clean wheels go with ATE Ceramic pads, the braking performance is exactly like the factory pads or better.

Thanks for all the replies, I've ordered Remsa brakes from GSL Rallysport - The Motor Sport Revolution!. I'm still waiting for a delivery so I will let you know how everything goes when they are fitted and tested.

(Transporter I wish you where closer so we could arrange the DSG tune for my Polo )
