Some nice wheels in here so far. Those Anthracite Denvers look great.

Bigfoot: love the look of this beast, inspired me with the wheel choice I made the other day
Just a question, what size tyres are you running on these?

Quite sure they are either 215/35/R18 or 225/35/R18

Yeah he nailed it didn't he? This and Atypic's Rays 57's are my favourite 6R wheel upgrades. Although I have to ask Bigfoot and/or Atypic, did you do the H&R springs before the wheel change? And if so was there a noticeable difference in ride? I've got the stock 17x7 wheels on my 77TSI sports pack with 25/40 springs and the ride in my opinion is harsh enough and skips around a bit on mid-corner bumps, although I'll take the extra width you guys are running if there's no rubbing on hard cornering. The boavistas sit too far inboard for my liking.

I changed the springs less than a week after putting those wheels on.

Yes there is a noticeable decrease in ride comfort due to the lowering springs and larger wheels with less tyre sidewall but it wasn't enough for me to say sh#t I regret that decision. I've basically sacrificed some ride comfort for better handling and weight reduction. In fact the front end just handles so much better with the lighter wheels.

Rarely do I get any tyre rub with the 18s but my wheels don't have any poke either, they actually need some bigger spacers to give a better stance but I'm changing the wheels anyway (for sale shortly) for some bespoke 18x8 plus I've got my H&R monotubes to go on when that happens.

wheels and H&Rs done at the same time

compared to standard "sport" suspension and boavistas (215/40) the difference is noticeable but the pros outweigh the cons

can get full lock and corner hard with no rubbing. rubs a bit (ont he plastic guard lining) if you hit an unexpected and decent size hole/dip but nothing i'm overly worried about.

Took the plunge today and bought a set of new 17" VW Motorsport wheels for my 6R BlueMotion.

Yes, it's standard on the BlueMotion along with the back spoiler.
