    @kaanage

Yeah mine was the Silver 77TSI with the 17" rims, black tail lights and Xenon headlights

About the hands - well lets just say my left hand is pretty much useless and in pretty much every situation I only drive with my right hand. When ever I drive with both hands I feel nervous, I know that sounds hard to believe but that's just how it is and a calm and confident driver is best...

I will only ever use my left hand if I feel things are just getting too far out of control, and I'm talking real far, because I'm better off without using it

    Try tirerack.com?

I ran Yokohama AD08's on my BMW for a while and that ran extremely well on a daily driver(even more so when I was hitting the mountains circuits). I'll be going for these again on my GTI when the Dunlops have given up.
$187 per corner = $748. Currency is good at the moment as well so you'd be paying approx $725-ish + $220-ish shipping. You'd avoid customs tax as well since it's under $1k. Win win.

You didn't seem to be holding up the GTI's that day (they seemed happy enough for you to lead them up the Reefton) so you must do fine single-handed and your suspension and tyres are certainly up to the job.

To the tuned GTI owners wit normal tyres, how often does the ESP cut in and is it abrupt or smooth?

All te damn time out of corners but that being said, you hardly notice it because it's quite smooth. We can aid the situation of using VCDS to alter the XDS diff setting to make it like a LSD though

once you get a bit of heat in the stock dunlops they're alright...

get some nice wheel-spin going before you need the grip... i've currently got dunlop sprayed up the side of my car after a day of spirited driving...

I get esp cut in as soon as the turbo takes over when i give it a boot full in second, and that's in a straight line. Very measured coming out of corners and I'm only stage 1, I can't imagine what randomx has to deal with. How much power are you making with that rather impressive list of mods??? For the record as soon as they are shot I will be washing my hands of the dunlops, never had a tyre feel soo slidey with any sort of speed through corners

What percentage would my speedo be out going from a 215/40/17 to a 215/45/17 or even a 225/45/17?
Im really liking the sounds of the Advan Noeva AD08's but looks like the above sizes are all they come in in a 17

Just about to order a set of 17x7.5 35p rims, would the 225's scrub do you think?

    67mm difference in total circumference

speedo when saying 100kph would be 96.4kph.

I am also thinking of doing this for my next set. would fill out the guards a bit more too.

I'm a big fan or Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE001 or RE002. Both the cars I ran the RE001's on did trackwork and the tyres coped very well.

I have the new RE002's on my Land Rover and it has tonnes more grip on Tarmac than the Yokohama's that were on there.
