What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

. All of this while delivering 5.3L/100km on my daily commute and still returning mid-sevens on average when having some fun. No wonder it's won Motor's BFYB award two years running - for the same money there's nothing even close.

Fingers crossed the trouble-free run continues!

I just filled up mine for the first time. I got 9.1 L/100km.

Today I finally got the ****s with my 195/55/r15 ContiPremiumContact 2 Tyres after 29,000km. They pull to the left very slightly by design, they are noisy, **** in the wet and have a lot of sidewall mushiness.

Had a new set of rubber fitted and balanced; Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 and wow! Night and day. Oh, and my alignment was spot on.

The Bridgestone Potenza RE002, and RE050 are brilliant tyres.
I have the RE050A on the Polo (stock tyres), and RE002 on the Swift.

. a K&N E-2997 filter, for ****s and giggles, see if i get any extra turbo spool y0
. front fog lights (cbf waiting for months just for the sports pack)
. picking up 17" polo gti rims pastidipped gunmetal gray on monday !
. still undecided if to get the H&R lowered springs, as ive read they have a very harsh ride with the stock shocks

Yeah I've got that on my iPad. BIG BIG speedo you can't miss Slides off the dash a bit too easily though.

"sticky pad" from $2 shop solves this problem real good

Maybe too many stickers for the back now, with the VWW sticker and the Rabbitohs sticker. Might have to fit them on the rear drivers side window.

With the new front bar on order and progress with VWGA (Germany) I'm about 20% closer securing the Polo R wrc bodykit specs to build the side guards (If you read an earlier thread I will be doing an R32 engine swap including haldex controller/drive unit and box). So the side guards are needed as the drive train is 45mm wider which would sit perfect with WRC side guards.

This is what I've ordered to sit in storage until its ready for it...

I already have a unit, haldex, drivetrain and box, cables, hydraulic lines for the engine sitting in storage but its far from ready to begin (at least 2-3 years pending marital commitments etc....friggin money munchers... )
