Our GTI has a sunroof and headroom is ok for me (Im 6"3)
He tried to find the lever to lower the passenger seat but coudn't find it. Perhaps there isn't one (will have to check the manual tonight). Might also be that my partner has a longer body and shorter legs.
Don't know if it's the sunroof that's the cause - I can't see it taking that much extra space. I'll get him to sit the driver's seat with the seat as low as it can go to see how much head room he has.

Last week i purchased an exhaust tip cover for my polo tsi...........
I think it looks good, it slides over standard exhaust, fits snugly and has a screw type clamp for fitting.........
It cost about $54 all up including postage and took only 24 hours to get to my front door....

Hi all,
I have got 3 quotes in front of me and need some help as I can only choose 1 so I thought I'd get feedback as to what should be best bang for buck.
1) H&R 25\40mm springs with install $700inc
2) Rear whiteline adjustable strutbrace $700inc
3) ECU remap (220nm\100Kw) by the folks at DNA tuning $830
Really not sure and its driving me nuts.

I'm biased of course, but here are my thoughts:
* Lowering springs are great for appearance but won't really enhance the handling too much on their own. The 6R polo is quite a nimble agile car to begin with anyway.
* Strut brace seems like too much $ for something that will only really show benefits on the track or when you're really pushing it in on the windy stuff.
* Improved engine power and response can be felt whether you're taking off from the lights, overtaking, and up in the hills coming out of corners, etc.
I would say to save for adjustable coilovers as they are definitely worth doing; they provide you with the full range of adjustment to really hone in on the car's ride and handling, as well as perfecting the car's stance. Obviously they do cost alot more, but people often move from lowering springs to a full coilover setup eventually, so if you can wait then it makes more sense cost-wise in my opinion.
But for now, tune =).

I agree with John
Springs meh. Save up until you can afford some KW Coilovers if you're really chasing handling. Strut brace.... I'd probably go sways and ALKs (if applicable) before going strut braces. Powah! Yep, that's your biggest "bang for you buck" mod on that list, so I'd be grabbing that one. Don't get me wrong... handling upgrades are awesome, especially at the track, but save up until you can do them properly
The quote for the Rear Swaybar is quite excessive i think. I only ended up paying $270 something and then basically installed it myself, but shouldnt cost you more than 50-100 to get it installed at a workshop i'd imagine.
