    How do those H&R coilovers go? Looks really good.

    Lol Dave_r. That is just cruel. That was the whole point with those wheels, it looks fantastic with a lowered car. I'm "displaying" those wheels in the garage atm to get the missus used to it in case no one buys it.

    So a little bit about how it rides. The ride is obviously a bit harder, but not overly so. The whole car just feels more taut. You feel the difference much more at low speed and it can be a bit jiggly on cobblestone roads.

    So how does it drive now beyond the ride? Well, it corners real flat now. Now you can take corners and sweepers at much higher speed and it really inspire confidence. I felt previously that the car rolled too much for my personal liking but no longer. Body control is much superior and you can really toss the car around now. The other main benefit is traction off the line. I was surprised how much more traction I was getting off the line. Guess the car isn't squatting as much and resulting in reduction of front wheel traction. Havent had the chance to try out hard braking yet but I suspect it is the same thing. Brakes on this car isn't it's strong point anyway unfortunately.

    All in all, pretty happy with the results.

    Way...do yourself a favour and remove those factory wheels and weigh them, then weigh those Superturismos and at the very least put them on for a trial run. I guarantee it, you will not be putting those factory Denvers back on because they are ridiculously on the heavy side @ 20kg each.

    I couldn't believe the difference after putting on my new wheels. 7kg lighter per wheel and the responsiveness in the front end was sublime!!

    it's looking too low, that's what I'd say has happened and the rear wheel needs to be adjusted because it's now sitting too far forward in the wheel arch, you also now need at least 19" wheels at a guess to match the radius of the tyre to the guard opening

    I'm all about even gaps, can't stand un-eveness on cars, shut lines, bumper gaps, rimt-to-guard, all teh same to me

    Looks great.. get it to centreline suspension to get it corner weighted.

    I don't think it's too low in a sense but I do agree the rear wheel now appears to be sitting too far forward which is emphasised by the lowering of the car. This brings me to my first gripe about this car's design.

    From the very first moment I viewed my car, this is the first thing I noticed. The rear axles are too far forward so the guard arch itself does not contour the tyre. Its OK on the new Golf, but its definately forward on the Polo and it irks me.
