Found it via eBay. $48 for the filter and $24 postage. Not sure how long delivery is going to take. If anyone else is interested, the eBay seller is autocom_performance.

Installed the Stock Rear Engine mount back on to the car, still have the one sitting there with the SuperPro Bushing which i think i might save for track days or cruises .

Also did an oil change (cant see the oil that came out being of any further benefit to the car, was pretty fouled up) and fitted the No Error Led parkers.

Just completed Nanolex treatment of all my paintwork, after wash and claybar yesterday.

Thanks to GTI Joe and Corey for your tips re how long to leave it before polishing off, you really helped me on the learning curve. The job was a breeze and the result is excellent!

Had my Polo detailed today, he spent just under 4 hours on it and it looks absolutely beautiful! Lost a bit of the new car smell though

I won't give mine for detail for a while then since I like the new car smell . I'm starting to go faster and faster in the GTI. I love the torque and the light weight of the car. The heated seats are real hot. And those day running lights look great. And it's first time I used the sun roof with the warm days we had. After I drove my bosses VW cady the GTI feels like a super car now .

Heated seats in the GTI? I didn't know we could get that.

Took mine on the 6R polo cruise by itself on Saturday, walkerchan also showed in his 9N3 so at least I had some company.... Not much though, except for the odd red dot in the rear view mirror...

    On my new 77TSI w/sportpack.
Replaced the drivers exterior mirror with a flat one.
Now things seem where they are, much safer for parking & general vision, and actually easier to see traffic
Got it specially made, stuck over original mirror with high grade double sided tape.
If anyone wants one I have the template.

I never understood why mirrors are made this way and I hate them!!

In my opinion, it's the wrong way around. Currently the object in the mirror seemingly appears further away when in actual fact the object is much closer. For safety purposes the object being viewed in the mirror should appear closer but be farther away

I may have to grab that template at some stage.
