    If you don't get the bracket aligned properly you get movement on the CF intake side of the intake. I noticed it was pulling out of the 'intake slot' in the grill but made sure the engine movement was absorbed by the concertina rubber hose & also used 3M double sided on the intake where it goes into the slot. This gave it some protection against 'rubbing' & also allowed some movement but restricting the overall amount it moved. I didn't use the screw holes but that may also alleviate the problem.
    Adjusting the bracket & adding 3M worked for me

    I think your only option for downpipe is the Milltek because the euro ones will all be for LHD only, as 'Finforce' found out the hard way. I have the Milltek dp, makes a massive difference in performance BUT it's a pity these new type high flow cats generate enormous heat and the Milltek for the Polo does not have a heat shield - recommend wrapping but needs to be done before fitting, it fixed my problem with fresh air through vents being heated up slightly.[/QUOTE]

    I'm not looking at a DP anymore but I sent Scorpion an email to see if they are likely to make a TBE exhaust for the Polo 6C GTi (no reply as yet) as they are also UK based.

    I was also looking at a DP to marry up with my SuperSprint cat-back & they assured me it would fit RHD...
    If you purchase from an AUS based retailer you at least have some protection as they will be taking the gamble not you.

    Just my 10c worth...

    I'd be getting the DP hpc coated if you're worried about the large amounts of heat that is generated. But this adds to the already silly prices being charged for some pipe and a cat converter.

    What's the difference between a LHD downpipe and RHD downpipe?

    The HP downpipe fouls the steering. We ('Finforce' who purchased one) suspect the same applies to all Euro made DPs for the 6C.

    Alternatively you could buy cheaper from UK, whether it be Scorpion or Milltek, and take the gamble you will not be hit by customs. I got lucky, others may not. Main reason I went for a UK agent for Milltek is because I thought Milltek/agents would not sell the downpipe separately (I already had the cat back and the AU agent had earlier told me systems could not be split) but apparently they have changed their policy and will now will split their systems.

    What pads are we using for polo 6R gti? (2015)? cant seem to find fronts, cooked em on the track. the "LSD" is hilarious now, torque steer city

    I have noticed a significant increase in torque steer since getting the tune done.
