Haha,
Good to see you enjoy having a bit of a play around as well Gavs!
What are your thoughts on drive train pressure/load when manually selecting/controlling gear shift under heavy acceleration. I have noticed that I get a clunk on upchange if I shift early due to I assume the tourque and the pressure on the gearbox/clutch.

Today I installed bluetooth in my car, it's all working first time, big thank you to Sootchucher for all the help with the best way to remove the roof light
Now all I need to do is the footwell lighting, and then look into upgrading the MFD computer so that I have full access to the car, anyone else thought about this or has any info that might help?
Thanks
Michael

Couldn't help but let the engine rev out a bit a few times tonight just so I could hear the DSG fart when changing up...

^ Nope sadly you can't
When pressing the traction control button it does 100% disable the traction control program. It does not however disable the ESP which means if the car is pushed too far past its (pussy) limits it will attempt to correct (by braking or throttling).
There "technically" is one way to do it in these cars and that's to rip out the fuse for the ABS pump which disables the whole electronics system for the braking...whether or not thats a good idea is your call.
It could also be possible to disable it by throwing an engine fault which also suspends all assists (because it cannot guarantee the engines' operation) - a simple disabling of the coilpack might do it - mind you unless you have VCDS in any of these cases you will have a sh*t ton of error codes...
