Since patented the pattern however its too expensive and too long of a wait just to build 10 units let alone 1 splitter.

The company wants a minimum of 200 units run off to make it "beneficial" to them, so I just kept the design for myself (naturally as i designed and tested it with CFD modelling).

So yeah, this path for me is dead in the water, i will wait til some schmuck can bring one of the euro mods to Australia.

tis a shame, in a very similar situation with regards to an intake ive modeled up for the 1.2, hence why im learning to weld, will do it myself.

Well as for the item i installed, its the Forge 1.2tsi bov... really only got it for a chuckle for my commutes, which it certainly provided thismorning and for a better sealing charge pipe. Interesting fact though, plugged in a boost gauge to cure my curiosity, little 1.2 puts out 12-14 psi... was quite impressed.

custom intake? I'm curious! before or after the turbo? Any re-routing for FMIC by chance?

I have a design modeled up for both before and after and yes have been considering FMIC. Havent really had time to sit down and nut out a route or size yet, but will hopefully next weekend when i have some time, would deffiantely have to be a in/out same side intercooler though. With the before im just hopeing to fix the flimsy plastic connector that joints the intake to the turbo, mine seems to have a fair bit of play in it.

sounds nice, I also thought about the same intercooler solution.
Still not sure about how to work around the current cooler so that can be removed (if thats even possible, 2 intercoolers would be unessessery overkill)

Too bad I dont have the stuff to fabricate anything

Mission complete ladies and gents, Had Dunlop Tyres install the new wheels in Ryde very good fit and was relieved to hear that if i had went to 18's I may regret it down the road.

    What do you guys think?

I like Though I've always thought they might be a bugger to clean with the double slots in each spoke. How do they look from 3/4 view with 7.5"/ 35 offset? I hate how far inboard my boavistas sit, still contemplating 17x7.5, 17x8 or (scrub scrub?) 18x8. There's still a lot of tyre profile there with the 17x7.5 but from a practicality point of view it sounds like the smarter option.

17x7.5 sits flush on the wheel arch so if you look at the car front view it sits flush

Will take a look through the photos for a 3/4 view.

what about the suspension? is there a chance the wheel can hit the rim under suspension force?
