Any idea whether the 8 inch width will cause any hard to the inside wall?

the 8J should be fine, its the ET value that i'm not sure about.. That's what may be causing the rim to come in too far and rub. I would go for ET30 as it has been proven to fit (would hate to buy new rims on a gamble to find out they dont fit)

    yep that's me - 18x8 ET35 with 225/35 tyres and H&R springs

can turn full lock with no rubbing but some very minor rubbing (on the front, driver's side plastic inner-guard) if you hit a decent bump at speed.

just got back from the hunter valley and port stephens (crap country roads) with no dramas...just ticked over 4000km on the odo while i was there

would be keen on listening to a sound lip of your new exhaust if you get a chance

When i get the car back from the Mech i can link up with you to check out the ABT work done on my car.

Just shot an email off to the manufacturer requesting if the factory will make 18x8 ET35 Talladegas.

Finish available so far (pending if they're making it in the ET35) Matt black, Silver.

i dont know how you'd go with the inner guard clearance with ET45...i dare say* it would be ok after playing around with a wheel offset calculator.

*but dont take my word for it

The seller has confirmed the size of the wheel will be built based upon what the (polo can handle) the factory/manufacturer are pulling up numbers before start the batch offset etc.

But he said maximum offset for the Polo Talladega wheels will be +35...safe?

Also need to find some Tyres now...help? [COLOR="Silver"]

Well I can live with the occasional big bump-induced rub. I want the width of the 8" rim (with the right offset, which would be in the order of 30-35) as the 7" Boavistas sit too far inboard now that my buggy is lowered. I notice that the recommended tyre on some wheel retailers' sites that I've been on recently is 215/35, interesting.

Once I'm happy with the note (i.e. put the resonator back in and toned down the rasp) I'll see what I can do

Took my car for a spin up the freeway to ikea which was fun BUT then someone in the car park left a 1/2 inch dench in my front passenger door and no note

Any idea of cost to fix these dings? Unfortunately looks like dent plus paint damage.

Also wondering if anyone knows any good local suppliers for side protection mouldings for the polo.
